Welcome to The Dance Authority! Under the new direction of Mindy Maxson you will see lots of new & exciting improvements over the next few months!! From the look of The Dance Authority’s logo & website to the totally renovated studio – I hope you are able to feel the positive vibes & have a newly found sense of pride representing TDA! Studio Policies
- Parents are expected to be respectful of teachers & classroom time. Please restrain from knocking on glass or entering the classroom unnecessarily as it is a distraction to students & teachers.
- We encourage open communication among parents, students & staff. All staff members are available for meetings to discuss any questions and/or concerns you may have.
- Classroom viewing will be allowed the last 10-15 minutes of every class.
- Cell phones are prohibited in all classes. Please keep them on vibrate mode & in dance bag.
- Withdrawal from class must be submitted in written form by the last day of the month to take effect the following month.
Closings
- The Dance Authority will follow Millard Public Schools for inclement weather closings. When in doubt, please check our website or call the studio. Please refer to “Important Dates” for all other scheduled closings
Shoes
- The required shoe list will be given at Open House. You will have the opportunity to purchase new & used shoes along with all supplies needed for dance classes.
- If you’d like to sell your gently used shoes, please place them in a Ziploc bag with your name, phone number, & purchase price. We are not responsible for lost or misplaced shoes.
- Shoes can be purchased with cash only. At year end, all unclaimed shoe money will be donated to TDA Company fundraising.
